MOS-AK is an independent paneuropean compact modeling volunteer group. The group was formed 20 years ago by local academic researchers and industrial modeling engineers in response to the industry-wide need for better compact models focused on advanced semiconductor technologies. MOS-AK's mission was built around three keywords: Connect (national and local modeling groups globally); Benchmark (compact models and their open industrialization); and Educate (introduce the compact model standardization platform). Over the last two decades, MOS-AK has enabled compact modeling research and development exchange. In 2009, MOS-AK and GSA have created the alliance as the next step in addressing the complex issues of compact modeling.
